Baked Donuts

These look like muffins when finished, but they tasted like donuts!


1/3 c. butter, softened
1/2 c. sugar
1 egg, beaten
1 1/2 c. flour
2 1/4 tsp. baking soda
1/4 tsp. salt
1/4 tsp nutmeg
1/2 c. milk


Directions:
1. Cream butter and Sugar, add beaten egg and mix well.
2. Mix in dry ingredients and milk.
3. Fill greased muffin tins 1/2 full.
4. Bake at 350 degrees for 20-30 minutes


After taking out donuts, Dip donuts in:
1/2 c. melted butter


Then roll in mixture of:
1 c. sugar
2 tsp. cinnamon


Makes 12 donuts
